About Dolores Greco

Born in Toronto, Canada, in 1954, the older of two children, Dolores showed an early desire to draw. Her parents, who came from Italy, comment that "she had a pencil in her hands wherever she went". Attending C.W. Jefferies Secondary School, she was eager to experience the best art instruction available to her.

The weekly trips to the R.O.M. were especially
interesting too; she would sit and sketch the precious articles for hours at a time. Roaming from room to room, imagining the history of the particular exhibit and what
it would have been like to live in that time period. All of these interests are still very important to Dolores. Today she can be found travelling to many areas of the world
in order to capture this very thought.
